Santa Clarita – Former Mayor and current Councilwoman surprised the public today by releasing a diss album under her rap alter ego, “LaurYe Weste.” The album comes on the heels of Westes frustrations with the mayoral selection process, and seemingly refers to current mayor Marsha McLean in a track titled “Placerita Canyon Gold Digger.”
Other tracks on the album refer to council members: Bob Kellar, “Heartless,” Bill Miranda, “Runaway,” and Cameron Smyth, “All of the Lights.”
A statement from Mayor McLean indicates she will respond to the diss album, as soon as she can find her gold fiddle.
