Carl and Jeri Goldman, owners of KHTS, Declare Moral Bankruptcy

Newhall — Carl and Jeri Goldman, known for their longtime community focused terrestrial radio broadcast station KHTS, and owner/operators of “Hometownstation” tabloid website have announced today their intent to file chapter 11 moral bankruptcy in an effort to consolidate their debts to society. “We tried to work with community organizations to avert the filing, but it simply wasn’t meant to be” said Carl Goldman in a statement, “We hope Santa Clarita stands with us as we try to find a moral compass.”

The news follows revelations that the few people with a soul working for the Goldmans had left the organization, predominantly persons from their “newsroom” division. An unfortunate side effect of the filing, the Goldmans had to sell their novelty trailer/boombox that they have owned since the days of KBET, which the they have been living in for the last 3 years. They hope to reconcile debts and retain a majority influence in the seedy underbelly of Santa Clarita politics.
