Elon Musk Buys Agua Dulce Airport, Plans SpaceX Expansion
Agua Dulce – Elon Musk announced the acquisition of the Agua Dulce Airpark, and several adjacent properties for $129660739.18 in Dogecoin, or approximately $42,000,000 USD at the time of writing.
“This airpark is essential to the next steps for human spaceflight,” said Musk in the statement, “the location in proximity to Los Angeles makes it a perfect place to expand SpaceX operations. The area is basically abandoned and far from civilization, but close enough to infrastructure that it will make it easy for us to build out the facility. It will host the launch and landing of our new rocket, the Starship. Production and full-scale operation is expected to begin in the next few months.”
The Airpark will be renamed Agua Dulce Spacepark, and will see improvements to facilities including a Starbucks, a newly built space traffic control tower, Tesla Supercharging station, and a VIP Lounge. SpaceX expects to start flights in late 2021, beginning with one per week until full operation levels are achieved seeing one launch and landing per day.

Growing turnips proved unfeasible below water, so they got out of farming and started a donut shop specializing in Bear Claws. Jerome enjoys watching paint dry, and lurking in local Facebook groups.
